Clinical Pharmacy Services

The scope of practice for pharmacists is exponentially increasing throughout the globe. While South Asia and the Middle East are finding ways to nurture their healthcare infrastructure, MedMadad is established to help enhance the clinical scope of practice for pharmacists to reduce healthcare infrastrcture gaps.

Chronic Disease Medication Management

Chronic disease management for individuals with hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes mellitus are often presented as uncontrolled. In conjunction with local doctors, clinical pharmacists at MedMadad will provide extensive management of medications through dose adjustment and side effect management.

Chronic Disease Testing

Chronic diseases including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes mellitus can be tested for through our point-of-care (POC) services. Blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol can be tested and deciphered through our clinical pharmacists.

Maternal and Child Health

Maternal and child health services will include education, supplement distribution, and immunization services.

Infectious Disease Testing

Common outpatient testing services will include hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis.

Smoking Cessation

Smoking nicotine is a common cause of many non-communicable diseases including hypertension and hyperlipidemia. Clinical pharmacists will work with patients to help reduce the number of cigarettes needed per day through behavioral and treatment services.

Women's Health

Women's health initiatives will include menstrual health, reproductive health, and family planning.
